MASSENA -- A level three sex offender who lives in Massena is jailed without bail after being accused of not registering internet accounts with the Massena Police Department.
Village police charged Matthew D. Larock, 36, of Sycamore Street, Massena at 12:22 p.m. on Wednesday, July 17.
He was arraigned by Massena judge Patrick Serguson and sent to the St. Lawrence County jail, Canton, without bail, police said.
Larock was convicted in 2006 of raping a 14-year-old girl and a 16-year-old girl and was placed on 10 years' probation. On his sex offender registry page where it describes the conviction, under "force used" it says "hit with hand/fist/club."
