MORRISTOWN — The body of a teenage girl missing since going snowmobiling with her father Jan. 15 was found Tuesday afternoon, according to St. Lawrence County Undersheriff Sean O’Brien.
Ten agencies, air boats and divers were involved in a search of Black Lake for David Redmond Jr. and his daughter Larissa Redmond. They were last seen on Friday, Jan. 15.
O’Brien says the cold weather was an obstacle, but he believes they will find David Redmond.
“We are utilizing sonar from two of the airboats,” O’Brien said in a Tuesday, Jan. 19 email. “Conditions are not ideal but we are optimistic that we will have a successful recovery.”
He said 20 law enforcement officers and fire department divers, along with five airboats from around the state, are looking for the Redmonds.
