POTSDAM – Organizers for the fourth annual Terra Northeast Regional Science and Engineering Fair at SUNY Potsdam March 28, 2020 are urging St. Lawrence County students to begin preparing projects.
Students from St. Lawrence, Essex, Franklin, Akwesasne, and Clinton counties are eligible to enter and compete with either topic posters or research posters.
Prizes are available to competition winners, including a week long trip to Anaheim, Calif. to attend the ISEF international science fair, a week long trip to Genius Olympiad in Oswego, and cash prizes for students and teachers.
Jan Trybula, chair of the biology department at SUNY Potsdam, is co-director of the fair, along with St. Lawrence Central science teacher Mike Gendler.
