HOPKINTON — A portion of River Street has been washed out following heavy rains and runoff.
An order from Town Supervisor Susan Wood issued June 24 declares a state of emergency and bars traffic from the road for five days.
The resolution notes that the closure could be extended for a an additional five days or rescinded earlier once the problem is dealt with.
