GOUVERNEUR -- U.S. Rep. Lee Zeldin, the Republican candidate for New York governor, made a visit to the Gouverneur St. Lawrence County Fair on Saturday, Aug. 6.
While there, he chatted with area farmers. He was joined at the fair by his wife and twin daughters.
John Wright, president and director of the fair told Zeldin to relay the message “We the Farmers are the Backbone.”
