MADRID -- An Ogdensburg man was charged Oct. 30 stemming from a fake money complaint this past summer at Madrid Market, according to St. Lawrence County sheriff's deputies.
Michael B. Middlemiss Sr., 58, was charged with petit larceny, officers said.
He allegedly used a prop $100 bill to purchase a few items and received $100 in cash back.
Middlemiss was charged after deputies executed a search warrant.
He was released on his own recognizance, officers said.
