President of the Board of Trustees of the Frederic Remington Art Museum, William Cavanaugh with Executive Director Ed LaVarnway
OGDENSBURG, NY – The Frederic Remington Art Museum has announced the winners of the Frederic Remington’s April Fool’s Day Ball raffle, which raised more than $3,000.
On April 1, the museum’s staff says, they held the biggest non-event of the season. In preparation, invitations had been mailed out encouraging donations, but encouraging donors not to attend the April Fool’s Day Ball.
As a result of widespread support and generosity, $3,700 was raised in support of Education and our Kid’s Place.
For every $25 contributed, donors were entered in a raffle of four gifts. The winners are: • Milton and Rena Goldberg won a small reproduction of The Broncho Buster, a $575 value
• Jim Chadwick won a reproduction of Frederic Remington’s A Stormy Morning on the Badlands on canvas
• Mary Ann and Greg Healey won both the Frederic Remington Art Museum Collection by Brian W. Dippie and a one year family membership to the Frederic Remington Art Museum.
Let them know, and they’ll be glad to invite you to next year’s non-event.
