POTSDAM -- The American Red Cross of Northern New York is offering CPR for the Professional Rescuer noon to 7 p.m. Saturday, March 19 American Red Cross office, 73 Market St.
Those with a duty to act -- professional rescuers, healthcare providers, lifeguards – will learn the skills needed to respond appropriately to breathing and cardiac emergencies.
This includes the use of an automated external defibrillator (AED) to care for a victim of cardiac arrest. The instructor is Brian Vaughan. The cost is $70. Pre-registration and pre-payment is required by noon on Friday, March 18.
