Raquette River Lions Club distributes $2,400 to Hannawa Falls, Potsdam, Norwood food pantries

The Raquette River Lions Club recently distributed its $2,400 Winter Food Drive fundraising money to three area organizations.

Pictured above from the left, are Lion Laura Gregory, RRLC Treasurer; Lion Rich Burns, RRLC Community Relations Chair; Ed Sachs, president of Helping Hands of Potsdam Food Pantry in Hannawa Falls; Kristal Hayes, director of the Potsdam Neighborhood Center; Marcia Murray, president of the Norwood Food Pantry; and Lion Norm Jones, president of the Raquette River Lions Club.

The Raquette River Lions Club presented a Lions Winter Food Drive fundraising check for $2,400 to three area food pantry organizations. Each Food Pantry received $800 to help with food assistance for people in need.
