Rain and snow are expected to continue this morning in St. Lawrence County with temperatures rising into the low 40s by midday, according to the National Weather Service (NWS).
Forecasters say winds will be 17-21 mph with gusts as high as 36 mph. Overnight the low will be around 29.
North Country weather will then dry out for a few days with the next chance of precipitation expected Wednesday.

Mostly cloudy, with a high near 41. Light and variable wind becoming northwest around 6 mph in the afternoon.

Mostly cloudy, with a low around 25. North wind 5 to 7 mph becoming west in the evening.
Tuesday
Mostly cloudy, with a high near 37. West wind around 6 mph becoming north in the afternoon.
Tuesday Night
Mostly cloudy, with a low around 22. North wind around 7 mph becoming south after midnight.

A chance of snow showers before 1pm, then a chance of rain showers. Partly sunny, with a high near 44. Southwest wind 9 to 14 mph. Chance of precipitation is 50%.
