CANTON — TAUNY will host a public information meeting via Zoom on Saturday, Oct. 16 at 11 a.m. to discuss TAUNY’s new strategic plan.
TAUNY board members and staff will present a summary of the plan, describe different ways people can participate, welcome feedback and answer questions from the public.
TAUNY’s new strategic plan was developed by the organization’s Board of Directors with input from staff, officials say.
The planning was guided by best practices to periodically review plans and update goals as well as the urgency to address challenges made clearer by the pandemic, according to a press release.
The new plan emphasizes goals for greater diversity and inclusion in leadership and staffing as well as program delivery and audience development across the region, officials say.
It also highlights expanded use of technology, improvements to The TAUNY Center, ways to strengthen TAUNY’s financial well-being, and more.
