POTSDAM -- Patrons who visited Park Bros. Bagels and Coffee on Wednesday, Oct. 14 between 10 and 10:30 a.m. have a potential risk of exposure to COVID-19.
If you believe you were present at this location on Oct. 14 between 10 and 10:30 a.m., it is recommended that you be tested for COVID-19 and monitor how you feel. Monitor your temperature twice a day for 14 days. Call your healthcare provider for further guidance if you develop the following symptoms: fever, chills, cough, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, fatigue, muscle or body aches, headache, new loss of taste or smell, sore throat, congestion or runny nose, nausea or vomiting, and diarrhea. Tell your provider that you may have been exposed to COVID-19.
Testing is available through local hospital and health systems:
◦ St. Lawrence Health System 315-261-6240
◦ Claxton Hepburn Medical Center 315-713-6655
◦ Clifton Fine Hospital 315-848-8049
◦ Community Health Center of the North Country (Canton) 315-379-8132
It is important to wear a mask when in public, at work, or any time you are with others not part of your own household; practice safe distancing; and wash your hands. Monitor yourself—be aware of how you feel. Stay home if you are sick and stay local, the Public Health Department said.
This is the second potential COVID-19 exposure the county Public Health Department has warned of in the past week at Park Bros. Bagels and Coffee.
Earlier this week, Public Health warned of potential COVID-19 exposure on Saturday, Oct. 10 between 12:30 and 1:30 p.m. at Park Bros. Bagels and Coffee. The department issued the same guidance for people who may have been exposed then.
If you have questions, call the St Lawrence County Public Health Department at 315-386-2325.
