POTSDAM -- The Village of Potsdam will close the Civic Center offices on April 9.
They will reopen Monday, April 13 at 8 a.m.
Payments may still be made online or in a locked drop box. Any requests for birth or death certificates may be submitted in the drop box as well. Village officials will answer all requests “as soon as possible,” an announcement reads.
“There will be no disruption of Police and Fire service to the community. Both the Police Department and the Fire Department will remain open and available as normal. As always in the event of an emergency please call 911 or 315-265-2121,” Village Administrator Greg Thompson said in a news release. “We are doing our best to ensure the public that all necessary services will remain available to them throughout this time of great uncertainty. The Village wants to remind everyone that we can and we will beat this threat. Please be compassionate to each other and remember to practice good hygiene and social distancing practices.”
