At their Oct. 13 meeting, the board approved an amendment to the code enforcement rate schedule which added a a fee of $2,000 per megawatt for commercial solar projects.
Also during the meeting, the board approved hiring the East Syracuse-based law firm Wladis Law Firm to advise the town on solar project matters. The firm was hired retroactively back to Sept. 16.
The board also agreed to hire Tisdel Associates for engineering services regarding the town’s community solar project #2.
