POTSDAM – A Potsdam man is facing multiple charges for allegedly forcing his way into his ex-girlfriend’s apartment and choking and punching her, according to village police.
Corey S. McGregor, 23, was charged with burglary second degree, a class C Felony; criminal obstruction of breathing or blood circulation, a class A misdemeanor; attempted assault third degree, a class B misdemeanor; and unlawful possession of marijuana, a violation.
He was arraigned in Potsdam Village Court by Justice Margaret Garner and released under the supervision of the St. Lawrence County Probation Department.
He is scheduled to reappear in Village Court on April 13.
