Thirteen Northern TRIBS swimmers from Potsdam, Lisbon, Rensselaer Falls and Canton participated in the 2014-2015 Adirondack Gold SC Championships in Troy.
TRIBS ended up in 13th place out of 25 teams.
They included Hannah Braun, Jesse Braun, Seth Braun and Gretchen Braun, all of Lisbon, Martin Stone and Caera Stone, both of Potsdam, Julia Domena of Waddington, Leon Lufkin and Sina Lufkin, both of Potsdam, Katie McGrath of Potsdam, Mia Mousaw of Rensselaer Falls, Bella Jaskowski of Canton and Cooper Stuntz of Canton.
Swimmers need a qualifying time to participate in these championships and must attend at least two regular season meets.
“Thirteen swimmers is (sic) the most we've ever had qualify for this meet. Our swimmers competed against other swimmers from all over the Adirondack LSC but most importantly raced against the clock to improve their personal best times,” TRIBS Coach Joshua Jock said in an email.
Jock was nominated as a runner-up for the Coach of the Year Award.
