POTSDAM — The Potsdam K-kids service leadership program, sponsored by the Kiwanis Club of Potsdam, raised $1475 for the Potsdam Volunteer Rescue Squad.
The funds were raised through multiple fundraisers organized by the kids and their advisor Nicole Jimenez.
The kids were treated to a field trip to visit the rescue squad and fire station.
“Thank you for adults for volunteering for the field trip: Marylee Ballou (Kiwanis President) Henry and Nancy Walters, Alicia Newcombe, Liz Remington, Alisa Woods-Darie, Fallon Maroun, Anya Dowell, Folashade Ogunbowaze, Christina Perry, and Trevor and Kristin Patterson,” Kiwanis said in a press release. “Thanks also goes to Chris Towler of the Potsdam Rescue Squad for showing the kids around and answering all their questions.”
