POTSDAM — The Potsdam Humane Society recently received an $800 donation.
The money was donated to the animal shelter by the Potsdam Amvets 282 Auxiliary.
“Thanks to all who supported the auxiliary's drive through lasagna dinner Saturday October 10,” said a PHS press release.
The funds were given in memory of Susan Freego Gibbons, former auxiliary member and PHS board member.
“Black cats had a very special place in Susan's heart,” the release said.
