TUPPER LAKE — State Police have made on arrest in connection with a homicide in Tupper Lake.
Alexa J. Gallagher, 26, of Tupper Lake, was charged with second-degree murder, police say.
Gallagher was arraigned in Tupper Lake town court and remanded to Franklin County jail without bail.
The victim in the crime has been listed as Melissa A. Guisewhite, 51, of Tupper Lake, police say.
State Police are asking anyone with information regarding this investigation to please contact Troop B Communications at 518-873-2750.
TUPPER LAKE — The Tupper Lake Police Department and the State Police are investigating a homicide that occurred on Lakeview Avenue in the Village of Tupper Lake, in neighboring Franklin County.
Police responded to the residence on Lakeview Avenue at about 1 p.m. on July 28, and found a single victim who was deceased, report State Police.
A possible suspect has been taken into custody and there is no threat to public safety.
