PARISHVILLE -- Representatives of the Parishville-Hopkinton backpack program thanks the community for its continued support.
The Parishville- Hopkinton Backpack Program began in 2013, thanks to the efforts of a group of educators who saw a need for extra resources for students in need. The program currently benefits 38 families and is operated by a committee of dedicated teachers and counselors.
The program has recently received many donations and we would like to publicly thank all of the donors for supporting the program so that it is able to send hearty bags of food home with families who request it over long weekends and breaks. Representatives of the program are grateful for the outpouring of kindness from local community organizations.
