PARISHVILLE – A Parishville woman who allegedly didn’t provide shelter for her horses has been charge with animal cruelty.
St. Lawrence County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested Rose L. Malone Wednesday following an investigation into a report that there was no shelter for her horses.
Deputies went to the residence and say they found that Malone had two horses fenced in her back yard and there was no shade for the animals.
Deputies said their investigation leads them to believe that the horses had not had shelter for about one month.
Malone was issued an appearance ticket to answer the charge in Parishville Town Court on Aug. 2.
