PARISHVILLE — The Parishville-Hopkinton Central School Board of Education approved several sports mergers with nearby schools for the 2019-20 school year.
The requests were approved at the school board meeting on Monday, March 18.
Mergers approved included football with Brasher Falls Central, boys’ hockey with Brasher Falls Central, boys’ and girls’ cross-country running with Norwood-Norfolk Central, boys’ and girls’ indoor track with Norwood-Norfolk Central and boys’ and girls’ spring track with Norwood-Norfolk Central.
Mergers also approved were girls’ hockey with Potsdam Central, golf with Potsdam Central, volleyball with Potsdam Central, girls’ lacrosse with Potsdam Central, boys’ lacrosse with Colton-Pierrepont Central and boys’ baseball from Colton-Pierrepont Central (anticipated).
