One new COVID-19 case reported in St. Lawrence County, nine total active cases

One new case of COVID-19 was reported to the St. Lawrence County Public Health Department today, Friday, July 10.

The total number of confirmed positive cases to-date is 226.

Two hundred and fourteen cases have been released from isolation.

One case is hospitalized.

Three deaths have occurred. This fatality data comes from the New York State Department of Health and was last updated on July 10 before 2 p.m.

Public Health said 20,034 people have been tested for COVID-19. This testing data comes from the New York State Department of Health and was last updated on July 9 before 2 p.m.

Testing is being done through both St. Lawrence Health Systems and Claxton Hepburn Medical Center and is by appointment only.

"New York On PAUSE continues through 11:59pm on Sunday, July 26th 2020 (as written in Executive Order 202.42), requiring postponement, cancellation, or restriction of all non-essential gatherings of more than fifty (50) individuals, and gatherings occurring indoors must not exceed 50% of maximum capacity, provided the region has reached Phase 4 of the State’s reopening, and provided that social distancing, face covering, and cleaning and disinfection protocols required by the Department of Health are adhered to.
