OGDENSBURG - The J. M. McDonald Foundation has awarded the Frederic Remington Art Museum's Centennial Campaign $10,000 for educational programming.
The foundation was created in 1952 by J. M. McDonald.
Over the past 59 years, trustees of the foundation have sought to uphold J. M.'s desire to improve education and social programs in and around the upstate New York area.
"We're very grateful for this recognition and support from the J.M. McDonald Foundation. This funding will help us deliver a growing number of classes and art camps through the balance of the year," said museum Executive Director Ed LaVarnway.
