OGDENSBURG —Residents at RiverLedge Residence (formerly known as the United Helpers Adult Residence) and residents of RiverLedge (formerly known as the United Helpers Nursing Home) celebrated Valentine’s Day with homemade Valentine Cards that were made by students at Madill School.
The students from grades 4-6 made 200 Valentine cards out of construction paper and included a handwritten letter in each card.
“The students worked very hard on this project,” said Kim White, Special Education Teacher at Madill School. “The students wanted to make a difference and give back to the community, so they thought homemade cards would be the perfect gift. The project also helped the students with their letter writing skills.”
