Ogdensburg school board appoints teachers, nurse, fall coaches

OGDENSBURG – The Ogdensburg City School District Board of Education approved an assortment of personnel appointments at Monday’s Board of Education meeting.

Brett Monnat was appointed secondary social studies teacher at a salary of $55,407, while Bridgette Havens was appointed secondary English teacher at a salary of $59,625, both effective Aug. 29.

Tara Kroeger was appointed head nurse at a salary of $57,582.80, effective July 1.

The board also approved the appointments of numerous fall sports coaches.

Coaches appointed at salaries of $6,433 were Matthew Tessmer, varsity football head coach; Suzanne McLean, varsity volleyball head coach; John Tebo, varsity swimming head coach, Julie Hynes, girls varsity soccer head coach; Matthew Morley, boys varsity soccer head coach; Christopher McRoberts, boys and girls varsity cross country head coach; and Jackie Pinkerton, varsity cheerleading head coach.

Coaches appointed at salaries of $4,825 included Gerald Sawyer, junior varsity football head coach; Anthony Williams and Charles McCormick, varsity football assistant coaches; Jon Cole, junior varsity volleyball head coach; and Douglas Loffler, girls junior varsity soccer head coach.

Jonathan Frederick, modified football head coach, Renee Tebo, girls modified soccer head coach, and Dianne Jeneault, boys and girls modified cross country head coach, were appointed at salaries of $3,537.

Justin Fishel was appointed boys junior varsity soccer head coach at a salary of $3,463, while Douglas Farley was appointed boys modified soccer head coach at a salary of $3.144.

Andee West was appointed modified swimming head coach at a salary of $2,540. William Payne, modified football assistant coach and Jacob Jenault, junior varsity football assistant coach, were appointed at salaries of $2,335.

April Spooner was appointed modified volleyball head coach at a salary of $2,123, while Brett Monnat was appointed intramural weight training head coach at a salary of $1,388.

The board also approved the appointments of academic department heads and co-curricular advisers for the 2019-20 school year.
