Ogdensburg patrolman promoted to sergeant
OGDENSBURG -- Police Chief Robert Wescott announces the promotion of Patrol Officer Michael C. Durham to sergeant.
He will be assigned to the department’s Road Patrol Branch. Durham will be sworn in to his new role at City Hall just prior to the City Council meeting on Sept. 14.An Ogdensburg resident, Sgt. Durham is a 2005 graduate of Ogdensburg Free Academy and attended SUNY Canton for criminal justice. He graduated from the David Sullivan/St. Lawrence County Law Enforcement Academy in May 2011 and was hired by the Ogdensburg Police Department in January 2011 as a patrol officer. He is married with two children.
