Terry L. Flath, 47, of 728 Franklin St. #3 is charged with first-degree rape. John E. Consolini, 24, of 228 Trippany Road, room 7, Massena is charged with third-[img_assist|nid=292839|title=Consolini|desc=|link=none|align=left|width=150|height=187]degree rape, third-degree criminal sexual act and second-degree criminal contempt.
The two were arrested Thursday, Jan. 14 and accused of raping the child the previous day. Investigators said the contempt charge stems from an arrest last year, police said.
They were both arraigned in Ogdensburg City Court. Flath was remanded to the St. Lawrence County jail, Canton, in lieu of $2,500 bail or $5,000 bond, pending further court action, police said.
Further arraignment information for Consolini was not immediately available.
