Deputies arrested Scott T. Murphy, 20, Oct. 14 at 5:40 p.m. for fourth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a class C felony, officers said.
The arrest stemmed from a motor vehicle stop that took place on Oct. 2 around 3 a.m. in the Town of Hammond where Murphy possessed more than one gram of methamphetamine.
He was arraigned in the City of Ogdensburg Court and was remanded to the St. Lawrence County Correctional Facility.
