OGDENSBURG — An Ogdensburg man was arrested Monday following a pursuit that went from St. Lawrence County to Jefferson County on Sept. 15, according to state police.
Troopers said they charged 38-year old Jason J. Simmons with third-degree fleeing a police officer in a motor vehicle.
The pursuit began in Ogdensburg and continued through the townships of Oswegatchie, Morristown, and Hammond, officers said.
Simmons reportedly entered Jefferson County into the town of Alexandria where troopers in Troop D attempted to deploy a tire deflation device.
The pursuit was terminated when Simmons entered into the village of Alexandria Bay. Simmons was cited and released on Monday.
