OGDENSBURG -- A city resident is accused of stealing $5,000 worth of merchandise while working at Family Dollar.
State police say they charged Shawn M. Crosby, 38, on Sept. 18 following a theft investigation.
He is charged with third-degree grand larceny, a felony, troopers said.
He allegedly stole the merchandise over an eight-month period while working at the store, troopers said.
Crosby was arraigned in Canton Town Court and released with orders to re-appear in Oswegatchie Town Court on a later date, troopers said.
