Ogdensburg man accused of felony drug possession after speeding in Louisville, deputies say

LOUISVILLLE — An Ogdensburg man was arrested on drug charges after being pulled over for driving over 80 miles per hour on a motorcycle, according to St. Lawrence County sheriff’s deputies.

Deputies said they charged Kevin C. Guilbert with third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell, felony, fourth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, felony, seventh-degree criminal possession of controlled substance, possession of a hypodermic instrument, third-degree unlawful fleeing a police officer in motor vehicle and several traffic tickets, officers said.

Guilbert was initially observed operating a motorcycle at 81 miles per hour in the Town of Canton and failed to comply when deputies activated emergency lights, officers said.

Guilbert was found to be in possession of methamphetamine and LSD by deputies.

He was arraigned by Judge Denner of Oswegatchie Court and released to the supervision of probation.

Deputies were assisted by officers from Canton PD, Ogdensburg PD, state police, and US Border Patrol.
