OGDENBSURG -- Each year the Ogdensburg Garden Club presents Maple Leaf Awards to residents, businesses and civic organizations. Selection is based on the overall beauty, color, neighborhood improvement and curb appeal of the properties.
Good Neighbor awards are also given to citizens who have made extraordinary contribution to support the club's mission of city beautification.
This year's award winners were: Residential - John Denio and Susan O'Neil of 1003 Morrris St.; Business - Diocese of Ogdensburg Offices, Washington St.,; and Civic - Ogdensburg Elks Lodge, Caroline St. Good Neighbor Awards were given to Munson Miller of Miller's Greenhouse and Myrtis Ashley, a 20-year-member of the garden club.
