OGDENSBURG — Ogdensburg Professional Firefighters Local 1799 responded to a structure fire this morning on Rensselaer Avenue, according to the department’s Facebook page.
Firefighters were on scene around 5:30 a.m. under the command of Asst. Chief Don McCarthy, the Facebook post said.
Firefighters arrived to find a moderate amount of fire on the first floor, but were able to quickly extinguish the fire.
Ogdensburg rescue and police, as well as Liberty Utilities were on scene.
The cause of the blaze is still under investigation.
