Hockey fans from Ogdensburg, Canton and Massena have each won a pair of tickets to a Clarkson University men’s hockey game from NorthCountryNow.com.
A total of 1,418 entries were received in the ticket giveaway that ended Thursday.
The winners, selected at random, are Justin Brabant of Ogdensburg, Nancy Layhee of Canton and Jennifer D’Addario of Massena.
They will be receiving tickets to the Feb. 18 game against Colgate University in Clarkson’s Cheel Arena.
While at the game, they may also have a chance to win again.
Their tickets are part of a group of several hundred from which three people will be selected to try their hand at a “Make the Shot” competition. If they are one of those selected, they will have a chance to win a 2012 Jeep Wrangler from Blevin’s Motors. In order to win the Jeep, they will have to successfully shoot a puck into a limited-space goal during an on-ice contest between periods.
Their tickets have also been entered into a drawing to win one of several Potsdam Chamber of Commerce gift certificates.
