The state Liquor Authority has revoked the license of an Ogdensburg tavern for violations cited in 2009.
At the Sept. 22 full board meeting, the authority voted to revoke the license of Boneshakers on Lake Street in Ogdensburg, citing several violations.
The charges were that the licensee, William T. Rocker, “made its license available to a person not specified on the license,” meaning that Rocker was not actually in charge of the tavern; that on Oct. 1, 2009, that there were containers that did not hold the contents their labels said they did; that business records were inadequate; and that they did not conform to regulations about the hiring of security guards.
