CANTON -- Students from St. Lawrence University and the Office for the Aging are teaming up to provide introductory computer lessons for seniors. The class will be taught at a slow pace, and individual attention will be given to maximize learning.
Classes will run from 3:30 to 5 p.m. Mondays and Wednesdays. The first class is on Monday, Sept. 20.
Topics include an introduction to the hardware, how to use a mouse and keyboard, surfing the web, email, and more.
Classes will be in the computer lab of the Human Services Building on Rt. 310.
Registration is required. Call Shava at the Office for the Aging at 386-4730.
