OGDENSBURG – Ogdensburg Bridge and Port Authority Director Wade Davis will resign his position Jan. 17.
OBPA Board Chairman Sam Burns said he received the letter Thursday.
“As Chair of the Board, I have asked the Personnel Committee to meet as soon as possible next week to discuss the next step the Board will take regarding that position,” he said.
During his tenure Davis helped the authority has helped improve the port, the road access to the port and was instrumental in the major expansion of the Ogdensburg Airport Runway.
Recently Davis was offered an airport director position in Louisiana, which he is expected to take.
