MASSENA -- Boater Matthew Grant of Norwood, won the two-day Phoenix Bass Fishing League Super-Tournament this weekend on the St. Lawrence River at Massena. Presented by T-H Marine, Grant earned $5,137 for his victory at the event, hosted by the Town of Massena.
Grant caught 10 bass that weighed 41 lbs., 14 oz., edging Douglas Reed of Bridgeton, N.J. with a weight 41 lbs., 6 oz.
James Ciferni of Hammond placed 5th with 38 lbs., 2 oz. Waddington’s Jonathan Robla finished 7th with 36 lbs., 10 oz.
