NORWOOD -- Norwood-Norfolk Central School is moving its graduation ceremony up one day from Saturday to Friday, according to Jamie Cruikshank, superintendent at the school.
The decision was made because forecasters are calling for rain on Saturday.
School officials said that the decision was made after meeting with students, reviewing the results of the survey and calling parents.
The ceremony has officially been moved to Friday, June 26, at 6 p.m.
A stage will be constructed allowing for graduates to walk across one at a time.
One family at a time will be allowed out of their cars to take pictures of their child, school officials said.
