Norwood Library offers many virtual services

The Norwood Public Library is still ready to serve, even if people aren’t comfortable venturing too far away from home.

The virtual branch is open 24/7!

As a member of the North Country Library System, Norwood Public Library is able to offer virtual programming and a variety of online resources, all accessible with your library card.

Once you have a Norwood Public Library card, you can utilize even more services online!

Through the online app known as Libby, access thousands of ebooks and audiobooks. This service is available free to borrow them instantly using the any device.

To get the app on phone or tablet:

• Download the app

• Add your library card by entering the barcode on the back of your library card

• Sample any book with a tap -- nothing to download or delete

• Download books and audiobooks for offline reading, or stream them to save space

• Positions, bookmarks, and notes are kept in sync across devices.

Beyond books you can do even more.

Universal Class: Over 500 continuing education classes are online and available for FREE to patrons of North Country libraries. The classes meet online, at your convenience, with a real instructor.

ArtistWorks: Learn a musical instrument online! Each instrument has a massive lesson library that covers the fundamentals, advanced techniques, and key learning strategies. Lessons are accessible anywhere, from any device.
