NORWOOD -- Republicans and Democrats will caucus in the Village of Norwood to select candidates for village offices in the election to be held March 18.
All village Democratic Party members are eligible to participate in their party’s caucus at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 22 in the Municipal Building, 11 S. Main St.
And the Town of Potsdam Republican Committee will caucus at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 28 in the Municipal Building, where Republicans living in the village can participate.
The party caucuses are being held to nominate candidates for the Norwood Village elections to be held March 18.
The mayor and two trustees will be chosen in that election.
The positions of mayor and two trustees will be open.
Mayor Tim Levison and Trustee Michael diVincenzo, both Democrats, reportedly plan to run again.
Trustee David Fenton, independent, is retiring, so his seat will be filled by someone new.
