POTSDAM – The Northern New York Library Network will be hosting three Excel webinars on consecutive Tuesdays, and one session on Windows 7.
People can participate on their own computers or may go to the NNYLN at 6721 US Hwy 11 to attend in the Computer Lab.
The fee for each webinar is $15. The instructor will be James Crowley, Crowley Computers.
• Excel Data: Basics, 1-2 p.m., Nov. 30. Part 1 of a 3 Excel webinars. Get to know the basics of creating a database, sorting, filtering and making it pretty.
• Excel Database Tricks and Techniques, 1-2 p.m. Dec. 7. Part 3 of a 3-part Excel series. Advanced sorting and filtering; printing techniques; importing data from other sources.
• Excel Pivot Tables, 1-2 p.m., Dec. 14. Last of a 3-part Excel series. Quickly group, count, subtotal, and more for reports with PivotTables.
• Windows 7 Introduction, 1-2 p.m. Jan. 4. Windows 7 is Microsoft’s latest PC operating system. Explore new tools, get more from Windows 7.
