NORTH LAWRENCE – New York State Police arrested a North Lawrence man who allegedly assaulted a person causing a dislocated hip.
Jesse J. Sochia, 42, was charged with third-degree assault, said police.
On Monday, May 8, around 6:56 p.m., troopers responded to The Jug, on State Highway 11C, in the town of Lawrence, for an assault complaint. An investigation determined the victim was yelling at Sochia because the victim did not want Sochia to drive his motorcycle home. Sochia became irate and pushed the victim to the ground. Sochia was picked up and left the scene.
The victim went to Canton-Potsdam Hospital for a dislocated left hip, and scrapes on the left hand and elbow.
He was released on an appearance ticket returnable to the Town of Lawrence Court for a later date in June.
