North Country businessman enters contest for 21st Congressional District seat

The New York State District 21 general election is shaping up to be a three-way race.

North Country businessman Jeffrey French, Natural Bridge, has entered the contest for the 21st Congressional District seat. He is running on the Serve America Movement (SAM) Party vying for the seat that Elise Stefanik, R-Willsboro, currently holds. Democrat Tedra Cobb of Canton is also running.

A letter to North Country This Week announcing his candidacy is as follows:

“Are you tired of the two party system that continually disregards your voice? Are you tired of legislation being passed that violate your Constitutional and Civil Rights? Are you tired of partisan fighting instead of them working for the American People? Are you tired of government overreach of power? Well; you do not have to wait any longer.

“The Serve America Movement Party believes in solving America’s issues with common sense approach based on listening to the people. Jeffrey French will provide the leadership necessary to tackle and make the hard decisions to resolve these issues.

“Mr. French platform is to balance the budget and reduce spending. Provide better healthcare coverage opportunities that promote our capitalist and free trade economic foundation. Fair tax reforms. Innovative solutions to transform Social Security and Medicare so future generations are taken care of. A serious resolution to decreasing our national debt to avoid an eventual economic collapse. Jeff also supports a robust National Security and Defense without violating our constitutional and civil rights. These are only some of the issues at hand.

“Lets support Jeffrey French in real leadership to provide solutions to everyday Americans. Go to his Facebook group French4Congress and follow and ask questions you may have or email French4Congress@aol.com.

“Be prepared to vote for the right candidate in the general election on November 3 or early voting starting 24 October. Let us send a loud message that it is not business as usual and the status quo is over with. Remember the saying, “Insanity is doing the same thing but expecting a different result.”

“Support and vote for Jeffrey French of the SAM Party!”
