RAYMONDVILLE – St. Lawrence County fire investigators are working to pinpoint a cause of Tuesday’s fire at the Raymondville Playground and to determine if the blaze was intentionally set.
Norfolk police said the fire started at 4:41 p.m. with firefighters and police arriving at the scene around 5:30 p.m. with the playground structure fully engulfed.
The playground is a total loss and a cost estimate has yet to be determined. Norfolk police ask that anyone with information or cell phone video relevant to the fire to call (315) 384-4200.
