Nominations now open for St. Lawrence County Chamber awards

CANTON – Nominations are now open for St. Lawrence County Chamber awards, including Business of the Year, Customer Service Excellence, and Local Producer of the Year.

Nominations can be made online at http://bit.ly/STLCAwards19.

Anyone may submit the name of a St. Lawrence County Chamber Member business they believe has shown a positive impact, provided quality service or raised awareness of local products for business and people of St. Lawrence County.

Chamber Members can be found by going online to SLCchamber.org.

Deadline for nominations is Sunday, Oct. 6. Award recipients will be released prior to the chamber’s annual dinner.

Reservations are now open for the dinner slated Wednesday, October 16th from 5:30-9 p.m. at the Stables at Windy Point. All are welcome to attend.

The evening will start with a happy hour at 5:30 p.m., complete with musical entertainment sponsored by Northern Agency Insuring Inc.

Attendees will have a chance to participate in the “Lucky Draw” auction and live auction.

Awards will be presented for the Business of the Year, Customer Service Excellence, and Local Producer of the Year.

The ‘State of the Chamber’ speech will address where the Chamber has been, recent accomplishments, and a look towards the future.

The buffet dinner provided by Bacon Brothers Barbeque will feature smoked turkey and beef brisket, vegetarian ziti, tossed salad, roasted root vegetables with a ginger garlic maple syrup sauce, dessert and coffee.

The cost is $50 per person or $480 for a corporate table of 10 people.
