NORWOOD -- Norwood has a new venue for eating, fueling and shopping as the Nice N Easy Grocery Shoppe opened on South Main Street recently.
To celebrate the event, the store will host a grand opening celebration Nov. 3 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. The event will feature a variety of specials, prizes, samples and reduced gas prices.
The 72 South Main St. store is open 24 hours a day, seven days per week. It’s located at the site of what was formerly a gas station owned by James Doran.
Nice N Easy sells gasoline, groceries and a variety of convenience items, as well as pizza, subs, hamburgers and breakfast sandwiches.
The store is owned by the Valentine Stores Inc., Watertown. The Nice N' Easy chain was founded in 1980 and operates more than 80 stores in New York state including locations in Gouverneur, Canton and Star Lake, and Ogdensburg.
Representatives from the store could not be reached for comment.
