New physician assistant on staff at Canton-Potsdam Hospital

Posted

Eibert is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants, and earned her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies at LeMoyne College, Syracuse. She is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants, New York State Society of Physician Assistants, and the Society of Hospital Medicine.

"I am excited to join the St. Lawrence Health system where I can utilize my inpatient skills and experience to provide care for those in need,” Eibert said. "I am passionate about providing high quality patient care wherever I work; however, I am strongly drawn to this community because of my background.

"I grew up in Star Lake, then spent four years living in Potsdam while I earned my undergraduate education at Clarkson University. Hands down, I consider myself a North Country native," she said. "After finishing my graduate education I worked in Albany, and earlier this year I returned to the North Country. I truly could not be happier to be home.”

As a Surgical Physician Assistant, Eibert assists surgeons with more complex procedures in the operating room, and provides care for patients throughout their procedure until they are discharged.
