CANTON – Barbara Adams has been appointed Executive Director for St. Lawrence County Community Development Program, Inc.

Adams recently celebrated 40 years with St. Lawrence County Community Development Program, Inc. and was first introduced to CDP as a Head Start Parent and Volunteer. She then came on board as a Home-Based Visitor for 10 years before being promoted to the Home-Based Coordinator position. 

She served CDP in that position for 18 years before accepting the role of Head Start Director. She has led the Head Start department as director for 12 years before being chosen to guide our agency in completing our mission as Executive Director.
